The setting of this AU is a pre-war (and predominantly G1) Cybertron, when actions still determined friendships and rivalries rather than faction. The story is mostly told through the eyes of a young Skyfire as he enters his senior year at Cybertron High, watching as his friendship with a certain tetrajet slowly deteriorates.

But of course the shuttle has to deal with everyone else on the hard road to college (and freedom). Though these interactions may lead to trouble or some other misadventure, Skyfire might learn that not everyone at a public school is as bad as he likes to think.

I just wanna thank the folks who have helped us out; you know who you are and thankyouthankyou you’re the best. <3 Yesterday’s shock has faded some (several frustrating phone calls is what led me to do this), but things are still just as stressful. Just gotta keep our wits about us and handle the issues as they hit, as scary as the big picture currently looks. Thanks again guys, and thanks for the reblogs. Lots of art slots are still open, so even if you want one later or whatever I’ll be happy to take the commission. I’m not going to say who they are, but just know that their situation is looking really bad right now. They haven’t received a penny in unemployment benefits (and altogether risk losing them because such things expire regardless of whether the delay is caused by the person trying to claim them or the unemployment system itself), they have bills to pay, gas and food to buy, and if they don’t get something soon they will literally not have a dollar to their name, and then… I don’t even want to go there. So I’m taking up commissions again so I have extra money to lend this person until they find another job, or their benefits come through, or something.  WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU Two things: Hand-carved stamps. $5 + shipping. $5 sketches. I will draw anything right now, so long as it’s not too time-consuming. (I don’t have the energy/spoons to do anything particularly involved, unfortunately, otherwise I would be opening up higher price brackets for more polished stuff. And not to mention that fast turn-arounds are going to help in this situation more than not.) But yes, I will do pretty much anything. TF-themed stamps? You bet. Robot dongs? Sure. Batman making out with that shark he beat up back in the 60’s? Challenge accepted. So that’s that. I’ll do 20 slots, and see where that gets me. Umum when I don’t have so many other personal projects crowding up my brainmeats (I should also note that I can actually make $$ off of those, which is why fanwork in general has dropped significantly in the past few years), when I get a lull in my dayjob, and therapy helps me finally get a grip on my (apparently lifelong!) depression.

I would go and try and knock down the quality of the art style again, but I couldn’t do that without seriously compromising the expressions and stuff.

So yeah, I’ve been in a bit of a bind so yalls are gonna have to bear with me.
